Hand made in Guatemala by a Fair Trade cooperative of women.  This clutch measures 9"x5" and comes in three colors, all on black background: blue, red/pink, and burgundy/grey.  The lovely silver strap is called a wedding chain since it is used in Guatemalan wedding ceremonies to rope in the bride and groom.  

Thanks to the efforts of my friend Brenda Rosenbaum of Mayan Hands, Guatemalan weavers are able to make beautiful products for us to enjoy while making a nice life for themselves and their families.
